The vision for Street Smarts is Better Communities...Better Lives...By Design. One way to apply this is through training - not just for our staff - but for the community and our clients as well. Street Smarts offers professional training workshops through our own Street Smarts University, covering subjects such as the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices' (MUTCD) proposed changes, new traffic developments such as the High-intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) Pedestrian Beacon, Ethics and Your Personality, Bio-Retention and Sustainability plus numerous webinars and seminars.
Street Smarts is also a host for events such as Shadow Day for Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology and summer camp for The Society of Women Engineers. Our staff also makes it a practice to present at Career Days at our local schools.
Marsha Anderson Bomar is a National Highway Institute (NHI) certified instructor and looks for opportunities to train others. For more information on a specific training opportunity or if you or your organization is looking for a facility to host your next training event, please call (770) 813-0882 or email us at events@streetsmarts.us.
